At Halswell Community Church, our Elders play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual health, unity, and direction of our community. The Elder Groups Ministry exists to provide prayerful leadership, pastoral oversight, and guidance grounded in God’s Word — ensuring that our church continues to grow in faith, love, and service.
Our elders are devoted men and women of faith who serve with humility, compassion, and discernment. They are called to shepherd the church family — caring for individuals, supporting ministries, and helping our community follow the way of Jesus with courage and grace.
The Elder Groups meet regularly to pray, discuss church matters, and provide spiritual leadership that keeps Halswell Community Church focused on our mission: to share God’s love, foster spiritual growth, and serve our community with compassion and purpose.
Spiritual Oversight: Providing direction and discernment for the church’s spiritual health and growth.
Prayer and Care: Praying regularly for the congregation and offering support to those in need.
Teaching and Mentoring: Encouraging faith development through teaching, discipleship, and mentorship.
Community Building: Helping foster unity, care, and strong relationships across all generations of the church.
We believe that leadership in the church is a form of service — a reflection of Christ’s humility and love.
